Advertising plays a major role for any company which aims to profit with their products or service that they offer consumers. What advertisements do for them is let their target market know that the company exists and at the same time, let the people know what they have. Today, there are several different ways to achieve this goal because of the different forms of media. A prominent place to advertise today is the internet.

A Pay Per Click advertising model is very common in the online world. It is used not only to advertise a certain product, but to increase the company’s website as well. With more people visiting their website, then they will be able to reach out to their target market easier.

This internet advertisement model makes use of other websites in order to promote the product, service or company. An internet surfer would often find hyperlinks on other websites which when clicked, he or she will be directed towards the company’s website or ad. To place these ads, the company would contact a webmaster first and the latter would get paid per click of the ad. For example, if the hyperlink is clicked five times in a day, then the company would pay the webmaster five times the amount. If the cost is one cent, then the company would pay five cents. This is said to be the most common way to advertise in the internet because it is cheap and effective. Plus, using this method of advertising allows the company to truly reach out to their target market by placing their ads in websites that are related to their product or service.
